International Day of Slayer 2012 is here! To celebrate this year's madness, appreciate this classic Slayer interview from 1985. Before the internet took over, before Slayer were huge, and when extreme metal was barely even started, Slayer were the maniacs we've come to know and love. Check it out, and don't forget to celebrate the day with lots of loud Slayer.
According to Metal Hammer, Slayer may release a new album this summer. An encouraging sign is that they plan to have the album written, practiced and ready by the time they enter the studio. "I don't think we'll spend long in the studio this time either. We're gonna do it old school style and get things done fast," said Tom Araya.
